We had the pleasure of working with Sally Castengera and her grandson Evan Murray when we bought our beautiful Charleston single downtown. They truly make a great team. We lived on Daniel Island and dreamed of living downtown but also found it a bit daunting. Evan helped me do research to really understand all that we would deal with (flooding, parking, etc) and helped us find the perfect house and location. We couldn’t be more thrilled. Sally’s experience and savvy helped us to negotiate a contract and navigate through the process. We got into a bidding war and thanks to Sally we got the house! As far as the sale of our condo on DI, I am still amazed by the job they did. We sat back and watched them market it and followed their advice to wait for the right price. Sally was confident and she got amazing results. Any realtor can write a contract or list a house, but they won’t have Sally’s depth of knowledge and experience. She’s the one I want negotiating for me. Working with her grandson Evan makes the experience even more delightful. So fun to work with and always willing to go the extra mile. Since our first meeting with Sally Castengera in 2002, we have relied on Sally and her expertise to solve all our Charleston area real estate questions and needs.  Sally found the perfect investment, and potentially retirement home, on Scott Street for us in 2003; helped us establish a relationship with a rental agency; and guided us through the long-distance home-ownership process. In 2006, Sally shepherded us through the purchase from a very difficult builder of a luxury condo overlooking the Wando River and also secured a buyer for us 10 years later. In 2022, once again, Sally was our agent in the seamless sale of our original Scott Street house for more than three times our original purchase price!  Sally, with all her Southern charm, extensive real estate experience and keen eye for value, is an outstanding Realtor and cherished friend.
