Randall was taught the value of hard work at a young age. He born and raised on a cattle farm in Asheville and helped his family with daily chores, volunteered with 4H, showed cows at the fair, and always had a job after school. Volunteering was also a way of life and Randall continues to give back to his community in many ways. Customer service plays a large role in being a Realtor® and Randall has been doing that his whole life whether he was working for his dad’s lawn service or within the restaurant, hospitality, sports medicine, IT, or human resource industries. He has taken each experience and built upon it over the years.
Though Randall pursued other interests before he found his ultimate calling in the world of real estate, it was no surprise that he had circled back to one of his first jobs. Randall’s greatest mentor was his mother who was a successful Realtor® and she owned a real estate firm and accounting practice. Randall spent years working with her and learned both businesses including the business side of real estate, noting what it takes to provide excellent customer service while painstakingly building a business from scratch. He also learned what it took to be successful and the importance of the responsibility of looking out for each client’s interest. Sadly, his mother passed away in 2011 after a battle with cancer but she remains the inspiration which propels him forward today.
Randall is an award-winning Realtor® who also passionately volunteers for many organizations so he can be an advocate for his clients, industry, and community. His involvement within these local, state, and national boards, committees, and organizations enhances his knowledge and resources that he uses to benefit his clients and colleagues. One of his passions is his work with the legislative and advocacy portion of the North Carolina Association of Realtors and he is most proud of his investment in the Political Action Committee as a Golden R President’s Circle member. Randall has even held the esteemed position of President of Asheville’s Land of the Sky Association of Realtors and was a nominee for Asheville’s “40 Under 40” Award. Randall also worked for two local real estate firms in Asheville prior to joining Corcoran HM Properties in 2022 as the Broker-in-Charge of its Asheville office.
Outside of work, Randall loves to travel and experience different cultures and meet new people. He truly enjoys being a student of all the world has to offer. Whether he is hiking or biking a new trail, or enjoying cooking a new cuisine, he is always studying new paths and learning. Above all, Randall loves where he comes from, where he is heading, and wants to help clients achieve the same.
