Amanda grew up in Nashua, New Hampshire and moved to Charlotte in the late 1990’s to be closer to her family. She considers relocating to the Queen City one of the best decisions she ever made and fondly remembers the amazement she felt upon seeing Charlotte for the first time. It still excites her to talk about this great area and she truly enjoys helping her clients get settled into their community. Prior to becoming Broker/Realtor®, Amanda spent 18 years in the medical field as a lead pharmacy technician and four years in the leasing industry as a Leasing Partner for Cortland Cotswold and years with The Apartments at Blakeney.
Fort Mill, South Carolina has been home for Amanda and her husband, Ken, and their three daughters and son for 20 years. After their children were raised, Amanda followed her passion for sales. She has always loved working with people and knew that customer service is one of her greatest strengths. It comes very natural to her and she believes everyone deserves to be treated just as she would like to be. Throughout her time in leasing sales, she made a point to make every resident feel at home. She delighted in putting together the events for the residents and joining in all the fun and even started walking groups to help residents moving in from out of state to get to know their neighbors. While Amanda excelled in the leasing end of real estate industry, she ultimately realized that she wanted to help clients find a permanent place to call home. She joined Corcoran HM Properties in 2022.
As a Broker/Realtor®, Amanda’s background in customer service and sales is the backbone of her success. She is very personable, outgoing, and makes her clients feel at ease. She is also very determined to make ensure each client has a superior and enjoyable experience whether they are buying or selling.
Amanda and Ken share their empty nest with their beloved Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Duke and Remington. They enjoy exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of all the fishing opportunities that abound in the area. When they have extended time off, they love visiting Folly Beach, SC, which has beaches that allow big dogs. They also visit Atlanta to spend time with their daughter who is a neuro nurse at Emory and isn’t able to come home often because of the shortage in hospital staff. Family has always been important to Amanda and she is one of six kids. Her mom and four of her siblings live in the Fort Mill area and the reason she moved to the Charlotte area and never looked back.
