Luciana was born and raised in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She spent several years managing operations at popular beach front resorts in Maresias - São Paulo State before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2004 to be an Au-Pair for a family.

This was the perfect opportunity for Luciana to work while attending night school to become fluent in English. She speaks Portuguese and English fluently. She met her husband Matthew in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007. He is a native Charlottean which is why they moved to the Queen City in 2015.

Since Luciana moved to the U.S., she worked for many private clients as an Au-Pair or nanny, personal assistant, and she managed a beauty consulting business on the side. She also worked as a teller at a bank. Prior to joining Corcoran HM Properties, she spent a few years as the executive assistant of a translation and interpretation firm.

Luciana’s love meeting and helping people is what led her to become a Broker/ Realtor®. She has always been fascinated with homes, hotels, and properties in general. With her extensive background in customer service, helping clients buy and sell their homes and getting them settled in a new community is a perfect combination of things she enjoys doing.

Luciana is a great listener, well-organized and detailed oriented. She is also good at preventing and solving potential problems and enjoys negotiating the best deal for her clients. Exceeding her clients’ expectations is her highest priority.

Luciana and Matthew live in the Ballantyne area. They love animals and have a Dachshund named Tyler and an orange-long hair cat named Palmer. Luciana enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, walking, cooking, singing, dancing, and attending theater, opera performances, and sports events. She also treasures time with her family, friends, and pets.
