Susan was born and raised in the idyllic seaside community of Scituate, Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in graphic design and photography. Shortly after, she moved to New York City to begin what became a successful 20 year career as a graphic designer. She also met her husband, Kevin, a friend of her brother’s at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and the rest is history!
Over the years, Susan and her family lived in some of the best known cities throughout the United States. In the mid-1990’s, they moved to Charlotte for a couple years before transferring to New Orleans and a few other cities over the next 24 years. So, in 2019, when they were at a crossroads, Susan and Kevin hand-picked Charlotte as the place they wanted to permanently call home and haven’t looked back since. There are few people who are able to get moving down to a science, but Susan is truly a master and it is also what has fostered her love for real estate and interior design. She has always loved homes and helping people so becoming a Broker/Realtor® was a perfect career fit.
Susan has moved so many times that it makes her feel good to help clients get settled and feel at home. Susan’s sense of humor, down to earth demeanor, listening skills, and attention to detail make her clients feel at ease. She is also a creative thinker and problem solver. Susan genuinely enjoys navigating her clients throughout the listing and selling process and provides excellent advice to help minimize the stress of moving.
Susan and Kevin live in the vibrant community of FreeMoreWest with their 17 year old cat, Tucker. She enjoys painting, photography, hiking, reading, and volunteering at the McColl Center, an artist residency and contemporary art space.
