Chris grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, and graduated from Pennsylvania State University at State College. He chose to live in Charlotte after graduating because it allowed him to be near his family and it also resembled larger cities like Philadelphia, New York City, and Jersey City, that he grew fond of while in school.
From a young age, Chris was exposed to the world of real estate. His dad rehabbed properties and his mom is a leadership/development consultant in the banking and investments industry. They also owned and renovated many rental properties over the years. While growing up, Chris loved learning about construction and interior design so becoming a Broker/Realtor® was a natural progression. Prior to joining HM Properties, he worked in sales and transitioned into real estate so he could use his experience to help clients navigate through the home buying and selling process.
Chris has a gift for making those around him feel at ease with his calm demeanor, positive attitude, and quick smile. He understands that buying/selling a property can be an emotional decision and sometimes a stressful process. He is also extremely analytical, detail-oriented and able to think objectively. Chris truly enjoys getting to know his clients and strives to make them feel comfortable so they can enjoy their buying/selling experience.
Chris lives in northeast Charlotte in the Highland Creek area and enjoys spending time screenwriting, reading, discovering new music, studying interior design, and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Camp VIVA.
