Taylor is ideally suited to be a Broker/Realtor®® because she truly enjoys meeting new people and showing off her hometown to newcomers. She joined HM Properties in January 2020, and has been working as an assistant to HM Properties’ top producer Susan May. Taylor has embraced and excelled at the challenge of a new career after raising her four children. Prior to moving back to Charlotte in 2004, she lived throughout the east coast and understands all that is entailed in the moving process and how to avoid potential stresses. One of her favorite things to do is helping clients get settled into the Charlotte area beyond just helping them find a home.

After Taylor graduated from Davidson College, she earned a masters in social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She spent the next few years in Charlottesville, Virginia, working at the University of Virginia Kluge Pediatric Rehab Center as a social worker and patient coordinator. She also spent a couple years at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, working in the pediatric and oncology department in a similar role. A few years later, she and her young family moved to New York City and then to Greenwich, Connecticut, before moving back to Charlotte.

Taylor is extremely energetic with an outgoing personality that makes clients feel at ease. She is very perceptive in figuring out what needs to be accomplished and will figure out ways to make it happen. Taylor enjoys all facets of real estate and especially working one on one with clients. She also likes bringing clients to showing appointments, hosting open houses, meeting with contractors or inspectors, assisting Susan to stage listings, helping with paperwork, and even helping to clean a house before it goes on the market.

Taylor and her husband, John, married a few years ago and live in Myers Park with Taylor’s 18 year old fraternal twins their mini Golden Doodle, Piper. Her eldest daughter graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2020, and her second eldest daughter will graduate Davidson College in 2022. Taylor is an avid tennis player and a member of two leagues in Charlotte. She was even the head coach for the middle school girls’ tennis team at Charlotte Country Day School for three years. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and has volunteered time at Charlotte Country Day for many years. She and John are also season ticket holders to the Carolina Panthers and don’t miss a game!
