Judy grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and graduated from Broward Community College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and spent years working in the industry as a merchandiser and in sales.
She met her husband, Derek, a physician at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, when he was asked to set up the Cleveland Clinic in Fort Lauderdale. When that was completed, they moved back to Cleveland. Four years later, Derek accepted a position in the Charlotte healthcare system and they moved to the Queen City. Once they got settled, Judy said she finally found the perfect place to call home. This move also gave her a chance to earn her real estate license so she could transition into working in a field that she truly loved. Real estate definitely agreed with her and Judy earned Rookie of the Year her first year and spent seven years working at Cottingham Chalk before joining HM Properties in 2020.
Over the years, Judy has been able to combine her love of home design, gardening and fashion into one perfect profession. She is also fulfilling a desire to help people. She says being a Broker/Realtor®® is such a great career because it gives her the opportunity to meet interesting people, show off a city she enjoys living in, and is able to help her clients find their perfect home. She also enjoys working with relocating buyers because she has moved a lot and has a good feel for what they are going through and understands their needs. She says that being a Realtor®® is truly her dream job and she even has spare time for her grandchildren.
Judy and her husband live in the Cotswold area with their Miniature Schnauzer, Patch. She enjoys golfing, bike riding, reading, and shopping. She also loves spending time with her her daughter, son-in-law and two young grandchildren who live in the Upper West Side of New York City.
