Beth Livingston

“I love what I do. Selling & buying a home is a journey that takes time and energy. I bring over 20 years of experience in negotiations, sales & marketing, which are fundamental to a successful real estate transaction. As your Realtor®®, your goals become my goals and we achieve them together.”

Beth was born and raised in Bloomington, Illinois, and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook’em Horns). She spent five years with Nationwide Insurance in sales, underwriting and claims. Then she opened The Beth Livingston Agency, a Nationwide franchise. As her company grew over the next eight years, she realized she was spending more time running the business and less time interacting with her clients. She missed building those relationships, so she made the transition into the residential real estate industry when she and her family moved to Charlotte in 2007. Beth quickly found her passion again & spent four years as a Broker/Realtor®® with Frenzel Properties prior to joining HM Properties in early 2018.

Beth and her husband, Jeff, live in the SouthPark area with their two children, and Havanese dog, Edna. She is an active volunteer with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Myers Park Presbyterian church. In her spare time, you can find her cooking for family & friends, dining out, or on the dance floor at a concert. She is thankful for her book club and supper club, both of which have
been going strong for over 12 years.

We purchased our home in the SouthPark area just over a year ago with Beth Livingston as our Realtor. She helped us navigate an unusual situation from start to finish! Beth did the leg work to find the property for us, keeping in mind our needs and desires – then helped us view the property considering some of the changes we could make to it to make it more our own. She helped us throughout the decision-making process and the subsequent negotiations.  Beth’s attention to detail and quick responses were critical during that time. We are very happy with our family’s move and our new home. Working with Beth made all the difference!

Working with Beth has been probably the best real estate buying experience in my life. She was genuine, unhurried, responsive, detailed, and really cared during the entire process. At inspection, she stayed and chatted the entire time. Upon closing, she treated us to congratulatory lunch. She even gave us a gift as a token of her appreciation for the business. From initial contact (which was a referral itself) to post-sale support, Beth did an excellent job, and I’d be glad to use her again.

This acknowledgment of Beth Livingston is overdue. On behalf of my late brother, Scott A. Hessler & our family, we want to say how much we value and appreciate Beth. In life and death Beth gave excellent service, kindness & compassion. After Scott’s unexpected death she helped us to honor his memory in advising his children in every detail of selling his home. As you can imagine, it was a sad and emotional time, Beth’s guidance made such a difference. Please acknowledge Beth’s professionalism and humanity.

We had the pleasure of working with Beth Livingston for the sale of our home in Myers Park. The experience was excellent. Beth was very dedicated, organized, and had great follow-up skills. There are so many qualities that we loved about her. Our favorite personality trait was how much she cared. All the training in the world can’t make a person care. Her heart was shining bright every day. Our favorite professional skill of Beth was her great communication with us. Every time there was a showing on our house, we and Beth first had a conversation about the buyer’s opinion. She used their exact words so no one had to read between the lines. Then she would then follow up with the potential buyer’s agent when appropriate. This continuous communication was what we asked for and she delivered. We were living out-of-town during the sale of our home. This communication allowed us to make small changes to the property and have our finger on the pulse during the entire process. We loved our home and it was hard for us to sell it. Beth was respectful and trustworthy the entire time we worked together. When speaking with Beth, seemingly all the time, every conversation with her was as if she was smiling through the phone. She was always positive and cheerful. We really felt like she was working for us and with us. We were on the same team every step of the way. Over the years, we have hired a lot of people for various projects. Beth was, and still is, the only person we ever hired that treated the job like she was a family member!! She was extremely committed. We can't say anything bad about her. We are very lucky to have hired her to help us sell our home.
