In 1992, Kim Antolini began her real estate career with a small private firm in northern West Virginia. Starting as the office manager she learned the trade and became a licensed agent in 1993. While the firm was located in beautiful rural Randolph County West Virginia it balanced multiple facets; commercial, land, residential, and development. This allowed Kim to garner experience for various branches of real estate transactions. These experiences have uniquely equipped Kim to assist a multitude of clients.
A few of these practices include working with general contractors to develop a new neighborhood in the area, where Kim assisted in acquiring property, collaborating on design and infrastructure, and finally marketing the sale of parcels. She also cooperated with owners of the firm on timber land research and procurement. This allowed her to deepen her understanding of the court system having to spend numerous days at the courthouse. Kim also has background in assisting a client in obtaining properties and advising in repairs in order to achieve the best rate of return. Yes, she helped flip houses before the term was popular.
Kim retained these lessons and relocated with her family to the Charlotte area in 1999. Shortly after this move is when Kim first met Peggy Peterson. Beyond her experience in West Virginia, Kim developed a bit of personal experience moving in the Charlotte area four times since 1999. Her family’s moves include relocations from East Charlotte, University Area, Huntersville/ Lake Norman, and currently Waxhaw. While living in North Carolina, Kim took a hiatus from real estate to teach math in Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools, all the while keeping up with local real estate trends. She especially loved learning new areas through running. This was achieved for signing up for races around the city or just driving to a new location to run. It was and still is a great enjoyment to see the diverse homes and atmospheres of different neighborhoods in the fast growing city. After retiring from teaching, Kim immediately thought of Peggy Peterson and immediately reached out, and from that conversation the Peggy Peterson Team was formed.
Kim truly loves living in Charlotte and would like to take the opportunity to share her affection of the area and illustrate her experience in helping you, the client, find the perfect home.
Kim is awesome! We used her on the buy side in 2019 for our first home buying experience and, more recently, on the sell side when we decided to relocate out of state. Both experiences were great, thanks to Kim. She was very helpful with all the logistics and process, insightful into the current market conditions, and eager to get us the best deal possible. Can't recommend her enough. Our only complaint is that we won't be able to use her in our upcoming house search in Oregon!Travis F
Kim's knowledge and expertise as well as her hard work and determination helped me with the purchase of my new home. Her ability to patiently listen to my requirements, taylor the search toward them as well as suggest some alternatives allowed us to find a great place at the right price. I highly recommend Kim to anyone who is buying a home.Albert S
Kim is amazing. My husband and I would have never been able to navigate the current market without her. She goes above and beyond to make sure every loose string is taken care of. Our buying and selling process with Kim has been so easy. She has extensive knowledge about all things home and real estate and is able to present us with helpful information and options during the decision making process. Kim also isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, do the extra work, and be honest when she isn’t quite sure about something and puts in the extra research. Our family is so thankful and highly recommends Kim!Jesse A
Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was professional and extremely responsive. She was always prompt in returning phone calls and kept me up to date throughout the process from our initial search, to offering a contract and through negotiation to closing. She was always offering suggestions, whether it be where to search for a home initially or ideas on how to upgrade the home I initially chose to buy. She offered contractors names and numbers to help with the process even after purchase. Kim Anotlini is a "10 out of 10" in my book!Dave M
Kim was amazing to work with! This was my first time buying a home and she made the process very easy! She was quick to respond and schedule appointments. Kim is a rock star and a professional miracle worker from start to finish. Selling my house wasn’t easy. It was a rental for 8 years and needed lots of sprucing up. I no longer live in the country and couldn’t coordinate anything that needed to be done. And to make things even more interesting, the house went on the market just before COVID-19 hit and was in the closing process during the pandemic shut down. To say Kim had her hands full was an understatement. I can’t imagine a more challenging situation to sell a house in. Kim managed the entire process from start to finish with astounding efficiency and transparency. Knowing she had absolutely everything under control created a completely stress-free experience for me. The house was under contract at list price within 2 days. Negotiations were a breeze with her guidance. Every contractor finished on time and on budget. When the pandemic restrictions were in full swing, her diplomatic style and creativity kept everything and everyone on track. If you are buying or selling a house I highly recommend Kim as the ideal real estate partner. You will be glad you did.Tammy A
Kim is a perfect “ying” to Peggy’s “yang”. They make a great team!Pam E
To put it simply, you are a rock star! I am so thankful to have had you as our agent in our home selling/buying experience. Your out of the box thinking, frequent follow-ups, investigative work, and empathetic communication really made me feel at ease during this stressful time. I am still scratching my head trying to figure out how you were so responsive to our (many) needs and yet not once when I was with you did I feel like I had anything less than your undivided attention.
Also, thank you for being so patient and tolerant of my “Buyerzilla” antics. You really listened to what we wanted and helped us re-focus on those elements when it counted. Thank you for all you did to make this experience successful and above all enjoyable.
Thank you for being such a rock star through this whole process. You managed the seller perfectly and made what was a potentially bad situation good. You also stepped in for the injured agent to help our buyers and that says a lot about you as a person.Brad L
