Susie Collins

Susie grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina, and graduated from Salem College in Winston Salem, NC, with a BFA degree in Art History and Studio Art. She spent part of her junior year in Providence, Rhode Island attending the Rhode Island School of Design/RISD for an intensive semester in graphic design. After 20+ years in retail and owning her own business, she joined luxury lifestyle boutique BD Jeffries in SouthPark in 2009, and enjoyed a successful sales career. After 9 years, Susie, decided to make a change and joined HM Properties as an executive assistant to Valerie Mitchener, the owner of the company.

Susie and her daughter live in the SouthPark area with their loveable yellow Lab, Harvey. Her family and creating art are her greatest passions. She enjoys spending time painting abstracts which are shown and sold at several locations in Charlotte and on her website. She also enjoys visiting museums, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, reading, and has a love for animals.
