Presenting Kenwood Sharon Lane

Sharon Lane, Charlotte, NC 28211

Kenwood Sharon Lane is the third of a series of developments with the "Kenwood" moniker developed by Jim Gross. Each of the "Kenwood" developments capitalizes on outstanding location, high-quality and unique design.

As with all Jim Gross developments, Kenwood Sharon Lane endeavors to create a unique environment from the moment someone pulls into the development from Sharon Lane. The entire development is focused around creating a "streetscape" which creates a uniform yet unique appearance of all the single-family homes. The general concept is that, unlike most subdivisions where individual homes "scream" for your attention, Kenwood Sharon Lane creates a seamless whole, which values the collective over each home. Some of the developments that capture this philosophy include Dilworth Crescent, Kenwood Myers Park, and Kenwood Cottage Place.

The slathered brick and cedar shake exteriors, along with gas street lighting, create a village type feel from the street. Each home comes with a walled-in backyard where homeowners can customize the generous yet, snug feeling private backyard. Fireplaces, pools and generous landscaped areas can all be easily accommodated.

Upon entering the home one is impressed with the generous amount of large of windows, solid wood trim, hardwood floors and 10-foot bead board ceilings throughout the first floor. The bright, transitional interior provides a great "blank canvas" to accommodate each individual buyer's unique taste. Throughout the home, there is a generous amount of built-in LED lighting to complement the top of the line appliances including Wolf and SubZero. Early buyers at Kenwood Sharon Lane are welcome to put their own finishing touches on the interior of the house as well as the brick-walled in backyard.

As would be expected in a "Kenwood" product, all homes have expansive hardwood flooring, dual system gas heat, a recirculating tankless gas hot water, top of the line appliances, two linear gas fireplaces and much more. The Master Bath comes complete with a "wet room" that features a shower and an architectural tub behind a glass wall.

Jim Gross and Don Duffy were in the same architectural class at UNCC. They've known each other for over 40 years. It was only natural that Jim would ask Don to work with him on the design of Kenwood Sharon Lane. Don Duffy Architecture has been the architect for all of the "Kenwood" developments. Don is considered one of Charlotte's top, high-end residential architects and brings a wealth of experience to the creation of Kenwood Sharon Lane.
