Cassidy was born and raised in small-town New Hampshire and stayed relatively close to home by attending Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Communication Studies, she moved 1,800 miles to Arlington, Texas, to begin a job as an Inside Sales Representative for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.
After developing new business and customer service skills under the leadership of a well-respected mentor in the sports industry, Cassidy was promoted to Account Executive for Rangers Enterprises. While she was a consistent leader in sales, she was eager to learn more about the sports industry and took a position as the Community Relations Coordinator which later led to being the Community Relations Manager for the Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express.
She spent three years in the marketing department, handling the team’s social media channels, special events and community outreach efforts. Her success landed her an opportunity to interview with the Charlotte Knights as the Director of Community Relations, and in December 2017, she made the move to North Carolina.
Cassidy has family in Wilmington, Waynesville and Lake Lure and was no stranger to North Carolina and quickly assimilated to living in Charlotte. She enjoys dedicating her time to Charlotte Angels, a non-profit serving foster children and their families. While serving on this board, she met HM Properties agent Kimberly Young, and the Kimberly Young Team was formed. With more than 36 combined years of sales and marketing, the duo looks forward to making magic happen for buyers and sellers in the Queen City and beyond.
Working in the sports industry allowed Cassidy to establish a solid foundation of success in customer service. Her background in creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for others and serving her community enabled her to easily transition into residential real estate as she assists clients throughout the listing and buying process to find their dream home.
Cassidy enjoys traveling to visit family and friends as well as volunteering time locally, reading, and exploring the Carolinas from food to outdoor adventures and everything in between. She lives in Dilworth with her female tabby cat, Charlie, whom she adopted while living in Texas.
