Shelly grew up in Newberry, South Carolina, and graduated from Newberry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after she relocated to Greenville, South Carolina, and launched a career in corporate sales that eventually evolved into small business ownership. Owning salons for several years, she received an award from the Greenville Business Magazine for creative and unique branding and her involvement in charitable organizations within the community during this time.
After living in Greenville for 18 years, she sold her business, moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and spent the next several years working in management, capability training, customer service training and high-touch customer facing creative roles as a Senior Level stylist for Stella Nova Salon and Spa. From Charleston, Shelly moved to the greater New York City area, working as a brand manager and regional business consultant for globally recognized, luxury beauty brands within elevated retail and salon channels for Procter and Gamble, Luxury Brand Partners and Estee Lauder Companies in a territory that included East Manhattan, Westchester County, NY, and Connecticut.
In 2016, Shelly happily relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, which she considers home. She has always had an interest and a passion for real estate and a desire to connect to her community in a meaningful way through work and volunteer efforts. Working full time as a licensed NC real estate broker, she brings her high-touch, client facing business background to the real estate market.
Coupled with her experiences of living and working in different regions of the country, Shelly can speak with confidence to the high quality of living that the Charlotte region offers newcomers, and plans to focus a great deal of attention on working with clients who are relocating to the Charlotte Metro area.
