Dana was born and raised just inland from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in the small town of Conway. She has always loved design and architecture and seeing the possibilities in homes and furniture. Her grandfather and father were builders and her mother is a self-taught designer and an insurance agent. Over the years, Dana has enjoyed renovating several homes with her family.
After high school, she attended Clemson University and spent four years on the sidelines as a varsity co-ed cheerleader. She graduated with a BS in Marketing and moved to Charlotte. She spent four years working at Auto Owners Insurance Company where she worked her way up from an automobile adjuster, AO worker’s comp adjuster, to outside property claims.
In 2005, Dana moved back to California, where she had spent many summers during her childhood, and lived in North Hollywood while working for Mercury Insurance Company. A few years later, she switched gears and sold billboards. She enjoyed her relationships with clients and helping them throughout the design process. In 2009, Dana moved back to Charlotte to be closer to her family and worked in marketing for an independent insurance adjusting firm in Concord. During this time, she earned a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Charlotte. In 2016, her company was sold and moved to Raleigh which gave her the perfect opportunity to merge her love of design and architecture with real estate.
Dana has lived throughout the United States and enjoys traveling the world. Her interests range from fostering dogs for a local rescue, playing sports to interior design and home renovation. She lives in the SouthPark area with her 3 lb. long-haired Chihuahua she rescued from Mexico.
