Kathryn Wysong brings an extensive legal background to HM Properties. She formerly practiced in the Raleigh–Durham and Charlotte areas and maintains an active law license in North Carolina. She currently serves as a member of the UNC–Chapel Hill Paralegal Certificate Program faculty, periodically teaching classes in civil litigation and contracts law. This experience enables her to provide clients with a unique perspective and guidance throughout the negotiation and contracting process involved in buying and selling real estate.
Kathryn attended Appalachian State University on a tennis scholarship and graduated with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. A few years later, she graduated from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2004, where she met her husband, Jason. Having grown up in the Charlotte area, Kathryn and her husband, were excited to return to the Queen City in 2009, when he accepted a position at the Charlotte School of Law. In 2016, Kathryn decided to pursue her passion for real estate and joined HM Properties.
She and Jason lived in the Cotswold and Elizabeth neighborhoods prior to settling down in the Ashbrook–Clawson Village neighborhood tucked in the SouthPark area with their daughter, Caroline, and Boston Terrier, Sparks. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and taking barre fitness classes.
Kathryn is an extremely and knowledgeable Realtor. She made moving from another state easy and fun. She had lots of advice and really knows the Charlotte area. She followed up on any issues we came across and always had an answer for them.
I enjoyed spending many weekends with Kathryn looking at homes. I felt like I was with a girlfriend. She is very comfortable to be around. Her dedication to her job shows! She really loves what she does!Debbie and Scott L
