Natalie Amalong

"With over 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, I have a strong knowledge of the Charlotte market and I am passionate about finding the perfect home for my clients. My success has stemmed from building client trust by having good listening skills, open communications, paying attention to details, and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the process."

Natalie was born in Bethesda, Maryland, and grew up in Winter Park, Florida. She attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and during her time there she was a member of the Duke University Wind Symphony and also studied abroad at the University of Vienna. After graduating from Duke with a B.S. in Political Science, she moved back to Florida and began a career in television as a producer for WFTV in Orlando. In 1996, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to work as senior account executive for WSOC–TV, Channel 9.

Outside of her work at WSOC–TV, Natalie began purchasing and renovating investment properties which led her to earn her real estate license in 2001. She worked in commercial real estate for a few years before joining a local residential real estate company in 2005. She spent the next 10 years building a successful business and has been a consistent top producing real estate agent. She joined HM Properties in 2015.

Natalie has two children; a daughter in high school and son in middle school, and an adorable English Cocker Spaniel named Sprocket. She enjoys practicing yoga and is a strong supporter of the arts, whether visiting a museum or gallery, attending a Broadway show or going to the symphony. Her favorite activity, however, is spending quality time with her children.

Natalie is a great communicator, friendly, experienced and a wonderful agent. She was recommend by a friend.

Natalie was thorough through every step.  My husband is in commercial real estate and gave her some tough, specific questions.  She either knew the answer or did her due diligence to find it for us!  Natalie was laid back, non-pushy, genuine and down to earth.  She also was upfront and got down to brass tax with us ~ no time wasted!

Natalie was recommended by a friend and she had great follow up.  We looked at many homes and she never gave up on us.

Natalie, thank you for your work in shepherding the transaction to closing.  We have no doubt your experience and attention were critical to the ultimate success of the matter, and we greatly appreciate it.

We worked with Natalie when buying our Dilworth home and she did a wonderful job representing our best interests and finding us the perfect home. She is personable and friendly and very easy to work with.  We would not hesitate to recommend her.

We met Natalie at an open house. She was very friendly, open and knowledgeable about the Charlotte area.  This was our first home buying experience and Natalie did a great job of explaining everything to us from the first step all the way until closing.

Excellent communication, follow-up and knowledge! Great at building a rapport. In one day we were able to view 6 homes and buy the first one viewed. Closed in just over 30 days! Remarkable!
